This is the new Z2 aircraft on a concept yacht. Ship to shore… that’s what I’m talking about.

GREETINGS FROM ZEVA HEAD QUARTERS!

There is so much good news, it’s hard to cover it all and keep this letter reasonably short. We launched, we flew, we moved, we’re growing, and we continue to usher in the future! Feeling blessed… Thank you all for your generous support! Do you like ZEVA’s new tagline? Elevating the human race!

FUNDING

ZEVA launched a Series-A preferred shares funding campaign in the middle of May by joining Keiretsu Forum North West [K4NW] on their monthly road-show. Joining the NW forum provided an opportunity to present to vetted angel investors in Seattle, Vancouver BC, Bellevue, Portland, Denver, Boise, and Salt Lake. Because K4NW is syndicated and cooperates with other angel groups around the country, they have made introductions to venture capital and private equity firms on our behalf. Additionally, we have been invited to present to the Southern California Keiretsu Chapter! Total raise to date is over $700,000 – we are well on our way to $15M. Please keep ZEVA in mind during your networking opportunities. We would appreciate introductions to possible investors. For a confidential meeting, please feel free to use this link to my calendar: Calendly.com/steve-zeva or send me an email at steve@zevaaero.com, would love to hear from you.

WE ARE FLYING

ZEVA is currently flying a full-scale aircraft.  Fewer than 10 eVTOL companies around the world have achieved this status, and we are proud to be one of the few.  I’m sure most of you have seen this: ZEVA Zero Flight Test 1/9/2022… but just in case, here is a link to our YouTube channel ZEVA Aero to subscribe, watch and share. ZEVA = zero carbon emissions.

WE’VE MOVED

ZEVA has moved. Our new facilities are located on the Thea Foss Waterway at the Petrich Marine dock. Please call before visiting, but our new address is 1118 East D Street, Tacoma. It is just a short walk across the 11th Street bridge from the heart of Tacoma.

WE ARE GROWING

We have added amazing team members.

Patrick

Patrick

Patrick is just getting started with ZEVA and has more than two decades of intensive Systems Engineering and Test experience in all life-cycle phases of large-scale avionics and flight deck systems development, integration, test and certification. Patrick has the demonstrated ability to lead a wide variety of systems engineering and test teams to successful outcome. He has consulted with Blue Origin and was an engineering manager at Boeing for many years.

Jonathan

Jonathan

Jonathan joined us as an intern from Delft, Netherlands where he is pursuing a BSc in Aerospace Engineering. While he was with us for three months, he tirelessly worked on building, flying and repairing our scaled models. His focus on transitional flight has been extremely helpful. We hope to bring him back for a full-time position in the near future.

Swapnil

Swapnil

Swapnil joins ZEVA as an intern from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he is pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering. His future is very bright! He will be working on energy systems and other projects alongside Gurbir, our CTO.

Sloan

Sloan

Sloan joins us to help with development, sales and sales support. She has over 32 years of experience in sales and sales management. She helps connect the leadership and is a coach to team ZEVA.

Tommi

Tommi

Tommi joins ZEVA’s advisory board as an expert in cyber security and is very well connected in emergency services and security organizations.

Dave

Dave

David is an engine company Captain/EMT with South Snohomish County Fire and Rescue. His 24 years of experience in the fire service has been focused on commercial and residential structural firefighting. David is helping ZEVA by profiling use-cases and needs of first responders and networking within that community to help build awareness.

INTRODUCING Z2

Z Aircraft

The ZEVA Zero is the initial prototype that we have been test-flying. It was designed from the ground up to compete in the GoFly competition. We plan to go to market with vehicles that are not limited by the extreme requirements of the GoFly rules. To that end, the “Z2” design is underway. It has a wider stance and swings larger propellers which improve stability on the ground, in the air, and more efficient flight. The diagram to the left indicates some of the features of the new design.

ZEVA is getting market pull for a two-person eVTOL. We have such and aircraft on the drawing board and are very excited about this project. We will be able to share details soon.

ABOUT ZEVA

ZEVA Aero designs and builds personal air vehicles for point-to-point travel. ZEVA is currently flying a full-scale aircraft. Fewer than 10 eVTOL companies around the world have achieved this status, and we are proud to be one of the few. ZEVA offers true freedom of travel, allowing you to live anywhere and move about with zero carbon emissions. Advanced air mobility [AAM] is an emerging market with very little history but has created a tsunami of interest and investment. The eVTOL aircraft segment is projected to represent $9 trillion market globally by 2050 according to Morgan Stanley. While other eVTOL companies have gone public by various means, ZEVA remains privately held, with attractive pre-IPO pricing. Our unique approach to the market, technology, and aerodynamics positions ZEVA to be the next break-out company in the field of advanced air mobility.
